Investment casting, also known as precision casting or lost-wax casting, is a manufacturing process in which a wax pattern is used to shape a disposable ceramic mold. Its advantages are:
Expertise in the design and fabrication of mold fabrication using Solidcams, Solidworks & Catia.
Precision Products practises lean manufacturing. Lean manufacturing or lean production is a systematic method for the elimination of waste ("Muda") within a manufacturing system. Our manufacturing process is per AS9102 starting from the receipt of raw materials to the manufacturing of First Article and finished parts.
Other than precision and complex machining, Precision Products also incorporates value added services to complement the core expertise. These include in-house rubber moulding and tube bending capabilities and facilities. Together with post processing and assembling services such as helicoil insert assembling, Precision Products further enhanced the offering of one stop machined casting, precision machining & assembling to the industries.
On a 5-axis machining center, the cutting tool moves across the X, Y and Z linear axes as well as rotates on the A and B axes to approach the workpiece from any direction to machine complex shapes and contours.
